VIP Tour

My wife and I took the VIP tour May 96. The tour lasted from 10am to
2pm. The book said that we would get a behind the scenes look at the park
and ride approximately six of the major rides without waiting in lines.
We asked our tour guide which of the rides we would see and he replied
that his goal was to get us on every ride in the park in four hours. We
DID see everything except for the Jaws ride since there was a strong lightning
storm at the time and the ride was closed. We received a rain check for
the ride which we used later that evening when we returned to the park
for dinner. The VIP tour includes admission tickets so you can have your
hands stamped on the way out for later entry that day. I noticed that the
Universal VIP WEB page lists a much higher price for the tour now. Maybe
it is seasonally adjusted.
